Born in California, Les possesses an M.Sc. Management from Boston University and the Vrije Universiteit Brussels Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences and his MBA specialized in global strategy from California State Polytechnic University. His creative training includes an M.A. from University of London; M.A. from Musashino Art University, Tokyo; PhD from the Faculty of Art, Environment and Technology, Leeds Metropolitan University, UK; and Post-Doctorate at the School of Communications and Arts, University of São Paulo, Brazil. He is recipient of Fulbright US Public Diplomacy Awards for China and Mongolia and the 2021 US Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Award.
